CURVEXPO New York – Mode Lingerie and Swim, spring/summer 2017 edition. The show consists of over 350 vendors-70% domestic and 30% international brands of intimate apparel, swimwear and men’s underwear. They all feature fashion must haves that will be seen next year in a retailer near you. There were a lot of sleepwear and loungewear vendors continuing the focus on that fashion category that’s been building for the past 2 years — look for more varied offers in the stores. This is an expansion/capitalization of the athleisure trend of comfort and ease that is so much a part of sportswear now. In the bras and panty area look for even more color and lace with attention to fine details and construction. Some of the swimwear trends were cross cross straps in back and front, jewel-toned palettes with amethyst blue as a key color and pretty floral patterns. Lots of great pieces coming for an exciting spring/summer 2017!
