Rag Face series from Korean artist Yoon Ji Seon, photograph with machine stitching. The photographs give you a glimpse into the artist through her eyes while the threads take on a painterly brush stroke quality. The pieces are reminiscence of Korean and African masks. The series speaks to the pervasiveness of plastic surgery in South Korea. On view now at BRIC in Brooklyn, NY.
