James Gortner – Dimensions Variable exhibition at Lyons Wier Gallery, New York. Pieces showcases three-dimensional photorealistic compositions by hand-sculpting each surface using wood, foam, staples, canvas and acrylic paint before using oil paint to render the figure. The works also include repurposed pieces of other paintings.
