Berry Campbell Gallery, NY solo exhibition of recent work by New York artist, Jill Nathanson was an exploration of color and experiences. Her colors consisted of unusual hues of overlapping layers of different translucency done by mixing and pouring paints on wood panels covered with gesso. Nathanson states: “I want the person looking to be engaged in seeking certain color qualities that the painting’s wholeness requires but that are less evident.”
