Gerhard Richter:  Abstraktes Bild exhibition at Phillips Auction, New York highlights the artist’s exploration of abstraction. This exhibition present works from over the last 40 years of his career that includes large size canvases, and heroically scaled tapestries. These beautiful paintings are keen examples of his masterful use of the squeegee that became the tool that defined his abstract work.
