Photography Now

How do you highlight what’s happening in photography now? AIPAD Photography Show in New York of course. As is customary, great photographers past and present were represented in the show by some of the finest galleries and dealers from around the world last month. Photography now in 2023 yielded new perspectives and interpretations from different artists in the show, among them were Niv Rozenberg. His architectural photographs offered a fresh take on iconic images which is now a new favorite. Artistic boundary pushers like Cooper & Gorfer created works with pictorial collages that tell narratives about the female experience. Mainstay of the show Cig Havey never disappoints with savvy use of light and composition in her beautiful photographs – they always draw a crowd. There were also many others on view such as Deborah Turberville, Rashod Taylor and David Alekhuogie in yet again another well edited exhibition.
